Community Event - Knecht Home Center - Spearfish 10-23-2018

Attendees:
Lon and Vicky, Ken and Carol, Darwin and Laurie, Bob and Kathie, Rick W, Jerry H, Jerry N, Danny and Mary, Carl, and Grant.

On Saturday Oct 13, 2018, members of the RCWA, accompanied Rick Weisbeck to the Knecht Home Center in Spearfish, SD to help celebrate the grand re-opening of the brand new store!  The store had food demonstrations on the Green Egg, plus hot dogs and fresh cookies baked in their full operational kitchen displays.  Kids also had the chance to paint pumpkins in a section near our setup.

We brought wood vans for kids to color, add wheels and race!  We set up at 9:30 am and entertained kids until 3 pm.  Over 80 vans were colored and fitted with wheels, and most were tested on our 8 foot 3 lane race track.  It snowed all day (outside) while we were warm and dry inside.  So at 3 pm, we tore down our booth, and drove home thru the snow.
