Saturday June 18th, 2016
After a short rain delay, the action began. Actually because of the short rain delay, the arrival of customers began before the merchandise was in place. However, the tools were put in place and the show began. The sun came out and dried up the rain, and the customers came.
A delicious lunch was served to all participants by Kathy Murphy. Thank you Kathy for a very enjoyable lunch of cold cuts, pasta, a fresh vegetable salad, and a yummy rhubarb dessert with a special rhubarb sauce provided by Mary Coffin.
By about 2:30 pm, the customers began to shrink to one or two per hour, so the tables were cleared, taken down, and the party was over.
Thanks again to Mary Coffin for putting out notices all over town, including but limited to, the newspapers and Craig's List.
Thanks to all donors and those participating who helped make this our 3rd successful tool sale. Proceeds from this sale are used to buy wheels and other supplies for the Toy Program.
