An enjoyable day at the park today - kids colored over 85 vans, and we put wheels on them. The shade was great, the crowds were smaller than previous visits, but the addition of the race track made the event a big hit for kids!
Our booth featured Woodworking for Kids: We brought blank unfinished wooden toy vans
for kids to color with crayons. When the
kids were finished coloring, we installed wheels on each toy. We brought blank vans, wheels, axles, and
glue, wheel presses, jigs and crayons.
Danny Green brought the 3-track racer for the kids to test out
their cars after coloring.
