The Scroll Saw Special Interest Group met on Thursday January 17, 2019.
The topic for the evening was discussion and planning of a project for the upcoming Woodworking Show planned for April 27, 2019, at Knecht Home Center. Once the project was selected, much work was required to prepare for the cutting. The project was readied for scrollsawing which included copying patterns, finding and selecting the proper wood, and blue-taping the wood. The patterns were then 3M77-ed to the blue-taped wood, and holes drilled for the fretwork cutouts. Cutting is planned for the next SS SIG in Febrary.
