Attendees: The attendees at today's workshop (17+4) included Harley, Julian, Rick, Grant, Ken, Rollie, Lon, Russ, Darwin, Lauree, Al, Ed, Jerry, Patsy, Mary Jo, Nick, Mary G, and Jim Brown. Rick, Cori, Tony, and Stu spent the morning assisting the Rangers at the Assembly of God with their Pinewood Derby building (a different location.) Click here for the Derby Event.
Today's Activities:
Today we finished tracing, cutting and axle drilling of The Club for Boys (CFB) pinewood derby cars (100). We will be assisting the boys at the CFB in July with finishing and building of the cars.
We are almost finished tracing the critters for 2023. Only three sets of critters remain to be traced. We have used all available 3/4" pine for the critters. We will finish the critters when more wood becomes available.
Other activities today including drilling windows, drilling holes for axle pegs, and cutting some toys to shape using scrollsaws (Ed and Darwin).
While you all were enjoying the Toy Workshop, we enjoyed lunch with Mase at Chili's in Chino Hills, CA.
