WT SIG 10-30-2024

Ken Ketel and Michael Howard hosted today's Woodturning SIG at the West Hills Shop on  Oct 30 @ 1:00 PM.  The West Hills kitchen provided tasty rice crispy treats and coffee.  Ken demonstrated how to setup for inside outside turned ornaments and simple cube turnings.   If you have any questions on today's presentation, call Ken.

WT SIG 8-28-2024

Steve York hosted today's Woodturning SIG at his house, Aug 28 @ 1:00 PM.  Steve demonstrated open segment set-up and alignment.  Address:  23696 Mulligan Mile in

Steve showed how to glue a ring to the bowl after sanding it flat on sandpaper taped to the flat surface on the table saw.

This is Steve's table saw jig for cutting all the segments for the segmented bowls.

The ring was held together with the big radiator clamp with spacers between the segments and glued to the previous ring.
