Members gathered on Saturday April 13, 2019 at the Club for Boys from 9 am to noon for a Toy Workshop (TWS 2019-07). This was after a three day blizzard that dumped an average of 18" of snow on members' homes. The Interstate 90 was closed until noon yesterday. "No Travel" advisories were in effect in Sturgis, Hill City, Deadwood, Lead, Nemo, Black Hawk, and Rapid City on Wednesday and Thursday all day, and Friday until noon, due to blowing and drifting snow. Temperature at game time today was 24 degrees F, with an expected high of 40 degrees.

Details:
Darwin and Frank returned the puppy ears after cutting to shape (60).
Lon returned a box of toys that he cut out, sanded and routered, that are now ready for sealing.
After finishing the paddle games, a large number of wooden ball/string assemblies were completed.
Al Oines brought back the smaller firetrucks, after sanding the window holes on his oscillating sander. They are now ready to be spray finished.
The sanding crew sanded a box of toys that are now ready for final finish spraying.
Frank brought in 12 cradles fully assembled and ready for finish spraying.
Rick brought in a box of about 250 basketball hoops that were cut on CNC routers by Jim and Dick at J&D Woodworks in Black Hawk, SD. Thank you Jim and Dick for your continued support of the toy program with these very important parts for our basketball games.
