Weather today: Windy and cold: temperature at game time (9 am): 28 degrees with temperatures expected to get up to 44 degrees by noon.
Activities today:
The sanding team setup outside to sand and router wheeled toys including:
Rough sanding of toys and routering of windows and edges of toys
Installing ball/string sub-assemblies to basketball games
Packing basketball games with spoons
Packing Basketball Games for inventory.
Preparing string/ball sub-assemblies for the cup and ball games.
Preparing string/ring sub-assemblies for the Ring Toss games.
A number of Ring Toss Games were turned in for final assembly
Miniature routering of critters
Cutting CFB PINEWOOD Derby cars to shape on scroll-saws for 2020
Hand-sanding finished toys (3 more boxes were ready to be sanded at game time)

Final steps to complete the basketball games was performed by a group of skilled craftsmen today:
Basketball Game final assembly and Packaging: 106 basketball games were packaged and moved to storage/inventory today.
Finally, the Wheel line ran out of time before running out of wheels or toys today.
Cutting CFB Derby blanks: In an attempt to get ahead for 2020, Ed cut two box fulls of CFB pinewood derby cars today:
Ken worked on completing holes in stragglers for axle pegs. Keith rounded over the 1/8" dowel pegs used to secure the basketball ball/string sub-assemblies to the base of the basketball games.
Not a popular job today, Jerry and Jim sanded and routered wheeled toys outside.
Preparing ball/string sub-assemblies for the Cup and Ball games, and ball/ring sub-assemblies for the Ring Toss games:
