Members made their way to Harley Schmadeke's Shop on Thursday September 30, 2021 for a personal shop tour hosted by long time member Harley Schmadeke. Harley was one of the first members to join the group back in 2008, and has been an active member ever since. Along with attending meetings, workshops, community events, and extracurricular events, Harley has been active in promoting the group with presentations at various organizations and schools around the Black Hills. He has been the group's Secretary for most of those years. Harley lives near Deadwood, so travels a good distance for each visit.
Attending today's shop tour was Rollie, Rick, Lon, Ken, Ron, Grant, Kathie, Bob, and Harley and Sue. The last time Harley hosted a tour of his shop was on Sept 20, 2014. Harley treated us with coffee, cookies, lemonade, and ice water.
Background music was provided by his built-in stereo system including 8 tracks, cassettes, and AM/FM Radio, with built-in wall speakers.
