1. Thick (2”) Toys:
a. Hand sand toys (that have been sealed)
b. Install wheels with green pegs on toys with presses (use yellow pegs for ducks only)
2. 2. Thin (1”) Toys:
a. Install wheels using ¼” dowels (precut) – no pegs req’d
3. 3. 2” thick toys:
a. Sand edges and flat sides of 2" toys with RIGID sanders or equivalent
b. Sand inside of windows with spindle sander
c. Router edges of 2" toys – may need some sanding after routering
4. 4. Critters:
a. Sand flat sides of critters – remove writing (minimum)
b. Router edges of critters (use trim routers) – some sanding after routering
5. 5. Helos:
a. Sand rotors that have been sprayed (one side only)
b. Put rotors on helos (trim the pegs) - use black pegs for rotors
6. 6. Tugboats:
a. Build tugboat cabins - trace shape on cabins – sand to shape
b. Install pegs in tugboat hulls - 2 per hull: use ¼” spacers, clamp in vise, trim with saw, sand flush
7. 7. Airplanes:
a. Install Airplane wings on remaining fuselages (glue and screw)
b. Install wheels on Airplanes using press, special jigs, special pegs (requires FAA Cert)
8. 8. Wooden Balls
a. Drill dual holes in wooden balls (100 BB games, 50 paddle games, 35 cup and ball) = 185 balls
9. 9. Strings – check for strings already cut (need 235 total):
a. Cut strings for wooden balls/rings – 17” long (use candle and gloves) (235 total)
b. Install one end of strings in wooden balls – knot and glue drop – use special typewriter tools to pull strings thru holes (185). Set aside after done.
c. Tie strings to wooden rings – then tie other end to ring toss games (50)
1110. Basketball Games:
a. Backboards – drill two countersunk holes from backside in slot (use golden setup)
b. Bases – install launchers (glue and screw) – slot position is critical

12. Blocks Discussion - 10 small and 10 large (approx. 3.5”L and 7”L x ¾” thick)
Results of today's workshop: 333 toys were finished and put into inventory.
