We began dissecting the plans for the barnyard scene for the silent auction at our next Woodworking Show. We found wood and glued up patterns for the hay wagon and the tractor, as well as the horse, cow, and pig. Wheels and steering wheels were selected.
Rick took some time and introduced Nick (a new scroll saw owner) to some of the basic concepts for starting to get to know your scroll saw. Nick cut several lines on a practice page of patterns on his way to gaining cutting proficiency.
