Congratulations and thanks to you all for a super job on Saturday packing toys. I brought home a small box of leftover toys - maybe 18 or so. The rest of the 2400 + toys were packed and tagged for delivery.
If you would like to help deliver toys to kids at Youth and Family Services, please meet at the Club for Boys Shop tomorrow - Tuesday at 8:30 am - we will load the toys for YFS and deliver them by 9 am to the Plaza Drive YFS. They normally bring the kids into the meeting area one class at a time so that each child can pick a toy. Lots of fun to see the kids faces and see how they react!
Attendees (24): Al Oines, Ed Pike and Kimmer, Danny and Mary Green, Rollie Lynde, Bob and Kathie Buchanan, Lon Gose, Julian Wigen, Paul Douglas, Gary Graves, Grant Coffin, Darwin and Lauree Buus, Rick Weisbeck, Steve Larson, Ron Fisher, Bel Felix, Mary Jo Anderson, Larry Deibert, Frank DiCesare, Jerry Norsen, and Mark Kline. December 3, 2016: Toy Packing Day 8:30 AM - truck drivers met at Rick's Shop to load toys into trucks - approximately 135 boxes.
8:30 AM - everyone else met at the CLUB FOR BOYS Shop to set up tables in the kitchen area in preparation for the arrival of the trucks bearing toys.
