Toy Workshop 7-13-2019 (TWS 2019-11)

Toy Workshop:  June 13th, 2019 from 9 to noon at CFB
Temperature at game time:     degrees F, sunny, windy

Attendees (15):  Lon, Danny and Mary, Jim, Ken, Ed, Gloria, Harley, Bel, Paul, Julian, Rollie, Mary Jo, Kathie and Bob, Frank, Rick, Ralph, Gary G, and Grant.



Activities today:

     Final check for CFB racers, preparation for building CFB pinewood derby type cars next week.
     Located turtle banks that need center holes drilled;  passed on to Rick for drilling
     Hand Sanding after sealing ( one box plus Rotors):  Kathie and Patsy
     Installing wheels/pegs on toys:  Harley, Bel
     Maintenance on glue bottles and Injectors:  Harley
     Sanding (1st and 2nd time) with Rigid sander/1" belt sander/Routering:  Jim, Ken, Danny, Al
     Logistics:  Jerry H, Al, Bob, Rick
     Bandsawing toys to shape:  Rollie
     Scroll-sawing toys to shape:  Ed, Bob, Darwin

Scrollsaw (Bob's) - bottom clamp is stripped.  Rick will fix, new heavy duty clamp set will be ordered and installed to improve DeWalt scroll-saw performance.

Tally at the end of the workshop:
    Boxes to seal/sand:  8
    Box to Spray Finish:  1
    Rotors to Spray:  110

Results today:
     Toys completed, packed and send to inventory:  39
          Rick transported the completed toys to Store Room.
     Total Toys in inventory to date:  471
