Toy Workshop 9-7-2019 (TWS 2019-13)



Toy Workshop:  Sept 7th, 2019 from 9 to noon at CFB
Temperature at game time:     75 degrees F, sunny, windy

Attendees (25):  Harley, Paul, Kathie, Lauree, Jim, Ken, Danny, Ethan, Grant, Rollie, Julian, Al, Rick, Darwin, Ed, Bob, Jerry, Gary G, Steve L, Lon, Mary Jo, Gloria, Ralph, Bel, Mary

Activities today:

     Hand Sanding Tractors edges before sealing:  Kathie, Mary Jo
     Hand Sanding Toys after sealing:  Kathie, Mary Jo, Gloria, and Al
     Installing wheels/pegs on toys and Rotors on Helicopters:
               Lon, Harley, Ralph, Bel, Mary, Lauree
     Installing ears on Dachshunds:  Julian
     Maintenance on glue bottles and Injectors:  Harley
     Sanding (1st and 2nd time) with Rigid sander/1" belt sander/Routering:
             Jim, Ken, Paul, Ethan
     Logistics:  Grant, Matt, Jerry H, Bob, Danny
     Routering critters:  Rollie
     Scroll-sawing toys to shape:  Ed, Rick, Darwin
      Danny and Mary cut rough block stock into large and small blocks for Paul in June.  Paul finished sanding and routering about 300 blocks in late August at his home shop.   Kathie completed sewing of 30 + heavy duty cloth bags for the blocks.  Members packed the block bags with ten large blocks and ten small blocks each.  29 bags were filled and tagged for inventory.

Results today:
    Toys completed, packed and sent to inventory:  219
          Rick transported the completed toys to the Store Room.
     Total Toys in inventory to date:  533+219=752
