SS SIG 6-20-2019

The special interest group (SIG) focusing on Scroll Sawing is held at Rick Weisbeck’s shop on the third Thursday of the month.  All members are welcome to attend these “scroll saw focused” get-togethers.

Attendees (9) on June 20th included:  Danny and Mary, Ken, Rick, Harley, Jerry and Patsy, Bob and Kathie.  

Activity at the June 20th, 2019, gathering of the SS SIG included discussion of four topics:

• Firemen's Bell Cabinet for Rapid City Fire Department
• Tree Tents for United Way's Day of Caring - Sept 2019
• Toys to make for Sturgis Threshing Bee - August
• Group SS SIG Project selection:  Noah's Ark - three candidates/plan

Vans (GAVs) for Kenadi's Karnival - June 22, 2019 were discussed; Kenadi's Karnival is the upcoming weekend community event, so plans to attend were discussed.
